Labuan Bajo is capital city of West Manggarai regency, East Nusa Tenggara, Flores, Indonesia. Labuan Bajo is a small fishing town and starting point of oversea trip to Komodo National Park, the sanctuary of Komodo Dragon (Varanus Komodensis). The center of Labuan Bajo town is near from Komodo International Airport, it just took 10 minutes. This town has its beautiful side like sunrise/sunset view point, caves, and waterfall. So that's why some of tourists used to spend their time to visit tourism place around Labuan Bajo city before or after they take Komodo National Park trip.
Kampung Ujung is the biggest street food court in Labuan Bajo. Most of the tourists visit these food courts for having dinner. Many of them provide traditional Indonesian food service, like fish grill, chicken grill, fried rice, and many more. The tourists come to this place after getting back from their trip.
Labuan Bajo has beautiful place to capture golden moment. One of the best place to enjoy seeing sunrise or sunset is Silvia Hills. Some of tourists used to hunt some golden moment in Padar Island or around Komodo National Park. But Labuan Bajo has it too!. It's just 15 minutes to reach that spot from center of the city.
The great and amazing waterfall in Labuan Bajo is Cunca Wulang waterfall. Cunca is local language for waterfall and Wulang is the local area name. We only need 1 hour to reach that location from Labuan Bajo city and around 45 minutes for trekking from parking place. Jumping from the canyon and swiming are the most unforgetable moment!
Rangko cave is one of the hidden treasure on the planet!. It's a natural swimming pool in a cave. You can reach the cave by car from Labuan Bajo city. When you arrive, you can rent local boat to get to beach of Rangko cave. The best time to get in there is during low tide. Please be careful for slippery ground.
Labuan bajo has famous beautiful cave, which is located nearby the city. The story behind mirror cave is sunlight gets into stone hole and the light reflected into another stone wall, so the view just like a mirror. You can see some fossils like turtle fossil in stone wall. Mirror cave explains that Flores Island was below the sea level.
